Fire Strike rock solid clocks (Click to show)

Hahaha, seriously though something funky with Pascal clocks. Running with over ten times the GPU/Video and memory clocks reported only gives a little over twice the score.

@galeonki Have Corsair RM850 bro.

hahahaha nice score, i think u hit the max here. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

thx for info - no coil whine in corsair psu?

As DStealth said above, yes and I want to add that I have also flashed GameRock Premium bios to a Super Jetstream.

It was a GTX 1070 tho but I'm quite positive it would be even "safer" for GTX 1080 since all are using same Micron ram.

All running smoothly. thumb.gif

Well..according to some investigation, the Gamrock Versionen uses 8 Phase for GPU and 2 Phase for Memory, so i am not quite sure if this is "safe"...

That's right about where most of the 1080s are on air.

Well, again, I'm quite positive that's just plain marketing info.

Even the Palit website advertises 8 phases for both Super JetStream and GameRock Premium

The below is quoted from Palit:

Palit GTX 1080 GameRock Premium:
"The 8 phases for those 2560 cores provides unlimited power and minimized current loading for each phase to stabilize the voltage level , the overall efficiency can be improved, the choke noise and EMI noise also be reduced."

Palit GTX 1080 Super JetStream:
"Unique 8-Phase PWM design reduces max current load for each phase to stabilize the voltage level and improve overclocking ability. It also provides another 30% current capacity"

Now compare both pcb's and tell me which is which. wink.gif
