Fast Sync HowTo - Page 6

In my setup what make my games "low input lag" was the following settings.

1 - Threaded=On

2 - ShaderCache=On

3 - FPS Limit 60.4 (i think it is, don't in front my computer right now)

4 - SetMaxPrerenderedFrames=1

5 - Enable FastSync

All the games i've tried was smooth without almost none Input Lag (like Vsync does), my screen is an LG 34" Ultrawide 60HZ.

Please someone tell me if this help you.

Thanks.

I turn shadow cache off personally, even with a SSD.
Btw this feature works wonders for me, specifically games I already use vsync in at 60fps (monitor's refresh rate)
Although it works even better in something like Counter Strike:Source or GO. No screening tearing, hardly any extra latency. If I'm playing casual, it's just superior to vsync in every way imo.

I don't play Overwatch but that's how I set mine for every game I play and it works perfectly.

I have a 60Hz 1440p IPS monitor and it's tearing like a madman so capping frame rate to refresh rate or higher makes my eyes hurt. I don't want to use v sync because the input lag and I don't want to run games without limiting FPS because there no need for 99% GPU usage and high FPS witch is constantly changing . GTX 1080 can maintain easily over 70fps almost any games what I'm playing, so what is the best way to use Fast Sync in this case? Should I cap my FPS to 70 or 65 or other limit which is over my monitor refresh rate and what my computer can constantly maintain? Or what is the best method to get "best gaming experience as possible"?... Also I don't like stutter and correct me if I'm wrong, but Fast sync causes stutter if FPS is changing?
