Does NVFLASH not work in windows 10? Is there a pascal DOS version?
NVFlash works fine for me on Win10
http://www.overclock.net/t/1523391/easy-nvflash-guide-with-pictures-for-gtx-970-980
This is the guide I used.

EDIT: Also, does somebody know when the MSI 1080 Gaming Z bios is getting uploaded? Or rather, what's the best 1080 VBios out right now?

Everytime I try to type something in cmd prompt it just lists a bunch of stuff immediately and doesn't let me type anything. This is while using nvflash, in just regular command prompt it works I can type just fine as soon as the programs open any keystroke immediately causes it to list a ton of **** and then eventually close.

What exactly are you typing into the command prompt?

Change to the directory containing both nvflash and the BIOS ROM file, then type "nvflash -6 xxx.rom" without the quotes, and replacing xxx with the ROM name.

Did you disable it in device manager first?
Yeah had the wrong version of nvflash in the folder, ran it again says this.

BCRT error certificate 2.0 verification failed

My 1070ftw from evga got 2 ****ty bioses from the factory and maybe thats why it thinks its not flashing to the same card? I got the bios's off here from the guy who posted his.

And yes. I tried turning protect off and it still gave the same error.

The only reason I am trying to do this is the vendor ID in GPU z is missing and labeled as 0000, I showed EVGA and they said there might have been a problem during the firmware flash. So they want me to RMA the card, which I do not want to do cause it's running just fine, but I want a 100% working card considering how much money it cost me.

Figured it out, apparently didn;t read the first page, had to use regular nvflash cause I am doing stock to stock bios and not modded. Worked perfectly let's hope it did something.

Subvendor Id is still reading 0000 weird. I dunno what that is all about or how to even fix that.
