Yes no problem at all i even flashed Evga SC one, FE one and all the GB ones, also while was on G1 BIOS updated my WF with the GB tool
Here's in my previous post IMHO all 1070 BIOS are compatible with most of the boards out there while reference design is used on them...only from my experience the fan speed varies between them mainly. thumb.gif.

Go directly to XG bios as it has 114 vs 111% PT limit and highest stock clocks.

The same as it's been since the beginning, nothing, unfortunately.

Damn, my 1070 G1 Gaming refuses to rise up above 2000 MHz frown.gif Only a bios moding could be the solution in order to unlock voltage limit.

If someone have it, please upload it.
Thanks

That's actually the same reason I'm looking for one. I'd like to "upgrade" my Gaming X to a Gaming Z.

They're (from what I've seen) the exact same cards just with a different clock speed and some extra LEDs.

Asus Strix OC bios has 120% Power limit and high default clocks but 2 HDMI so you might lose a DP.

Just tested that XG bios on my g1.

Works great, I barely need to touch the core clocks. Just by maxing out voltage and power limits the card already boosts to 2063mhz. I could easily get to 2100mhz which is my standard oc but as expected, trying to push higher than that is not possible. OCing is locked by voltage limits really, can't push much more than 2100mhz with just 1.093v.
