Gigabyte 1070 Xtreme Gaming bios

I'm going to warn you ahead of time, I've noticed that the Xtreme Gaming has a different cooling system, which is very effective since I haven't gone above 62C yet... and with Custom fan, haven't been above 55C. Also, even though the Core and Boost Clock says what it does for the specs... it seems this BIOS boost Clock is 2000mhz+. So there is little room to add Core because of it. (Mine on OC mode is around 2075-2100mhz)

^I don't know if normal or not. It never drops below 2000mhz with throttle. Unless it has very low load.

Core Clock
1695 MHz in OC mode
1670 MHz in Gaming mode

Boost Clock
1898 MHz in OC mode
1873 MHz in Gaming mode

1070XG.zip 148k .zip file [/quote]

Can I flash this bios in the EVGA GTX 1070 SC ?

Gaming X BIOS: 86.04.17.00.50
Armor BIOS: 86.04.17.00.51

MSI GTX 1080 GamingX and ARMOR are so much the same that it didn't change ANYTHING in my overclocking switching from one bios to another.

Couldn't go over the 1.062V barrier

Same, card, same hardware, same BIOS, but one has a more aggressive setting out of the box...go figure

It works like a charm and is rock stable.

It gave me +38MHz (from 1632MHz) core clock and +250MHz (from 4000MHz) memory clock.

Mind that the "normal" Gamerock has lower clock rates:
1556MHz core clock
4000MHz memory clock

Silicon lottery decides if a "normal" Gamerock can handle the clock speeds of the Premium Edition.

Regarding the BIOS switch: I don't know exactly how the Palit card handles the BIOS flash but I can tell you how it was with my Gigabyte Radeon 7950 Windforce 3.
The card only loads the BIOS after a reboot. But when you boot with switch set to BIOS1 you can after that set the switch to position 2 and the flash will be applied to that BIOS2 slot.

sorry, can you upload your superjetstream bios??? I´m with a gamerock bios in jetstream and I would like to try a superjetstream bios

reguards and thanks
