Still not going to risk cross flashing, rather wait for pascal bios editor.

For now i'm happy with 2088 but with another 10-20% TDP 2100 all day long

I just got a Palit GeForce GTX 1070 Dual, bios attached.
Though they advertise 0db feature for that card the fans won't turn off.
File profile curve is locked at 30% minimum.
I'm looking for a solution that would let me adjust the fan curve all the way to 0%.
Shall I try flashing some of the other GTX 1070 bios?

Does anyone have the bios for a Palit GTX 1080 Premium edition?
I just got the normal one and would love to see if I can flash it with the premium version smile.gif

Doesn't seem to me that anybody is working on a pascal bios editor. I'd love to be proven wrong though but I haven't found any threads here or in other forums where this is researched on.

If I were a programmer I'd look into it myself, but alas my skills are limited to web and javascript.

Someone here claims to have a modded BIOS that is flashable, but so far hasn't provided proof of that or how it was modified to still be signed and flashable, so we're still waiting smile.gif

NVIDIA should realize there's a NICHE' community out there (that's bigger than ever) that wish to take calculated risks. They've already received our money, what good does it do to lock down the BIOS? It's obviously going to make people take risks and cross flash... many successfully... to accomplish some aspects of "BIOS MODDING" anyway.. all they are really doing is disappointing serious overclockers and increasing RMAs... we were "responsible and safe" with Maxwell and now we're reckless and risky with Pascal (cross flashing).

At this point I'm inclined to say there's no editor in the works.. it's a big challenge this time...It's not easy... they made it very hard... intentionally... like a slap in the face to EVERYTHING THAT THE COMMUNITY ON THIS FORUM IS ALL ABOUT...Although there's certainly the talent and expertise to make it happen, it just hasn't been organized yet. Let's face it, people can hack top security and crack complex encryption... figuring out the BIOS isn't going to be Sector 7, top secret, military grade psycho encryption lol. Does Anonymous mod BIOS'? LMAO

People have spoken up and showed that they understand offsets... Would it be breaking rules to create a new thread with volunteers for the project?

Yep have to say after trying to be sensible, I took the plunge and cross flashed.

I gritted my teeth and flashed successfully founders, palit super jetstream and asus strix to my evga 1070 sc.

Limited testing so far but power limit increased on both compared to stock bios.

Strix @120% showing more watts used in hwinfo up from 165w to 190w peak and less tdp throttling.

Palit @114% does not show watts in hwinfo but again less tdp throttling.

EVGA have not increased the TDP in bios for SC, its the same as founders (confirmed by flashing FE bios)

More testing and screenshots to come
