In-game or benching? 2100 until 50C doesn't sound all that good after BIOS mod is applied.

Here ya go thumb.gif

I know that Dstealth has tested it out and etc. But I think he's the only one whose tested it. And I only know of it since it's the bios that comes with my GPU lol.

Both, my max stable clock now starts at 2124@ 35C - 2114@40C - 2100@50C - 2088@55C and those clocks hold through benchmarks.

Before lucky to peak at 2050 and clock would be all over the place 1900~1950 and worse if the ram was overclocked.

Small gain yes, but atleast I know when I watercool it 2100mhz daily.

I found in testing my 1070
BIOS TDP watts max power slider
Founders 150 164 112%
EVGA SC 170 167 112%
ASUS Strix 170 197 120%
Palit GameRock Premium 170 195 114%

TDP from manufacturers website. Power measurements are from HWinfo

PS I do have a watt meter, will have to do some testing when time is available

Not 100% sure HWinfo is accurate ? anyone

So, can anyone confirm tha the BIOS that allows more power is G1 Extreme and HoF?
I own a Palit GTX 1070 Dual and I would like to adjust the fans management so that they would stop when temps are low. Fan speed goes down to 30% not less.
I looked at differences between the various BIOS I collected for Palit GTX 1070 cards.
The GameRock is similar to the JetStream BIOS, just a few values changing here and there.
However there are a lot more differences between my Dual and the other two.
Shall try flashing the JetStream BIOS regardless?
