FWIW cross flashing strix1080xoc to my Galax FE resulted in
Slower max fan 3600vs4000
TDP adjustment and temperature grayed out.
No power limiting.
Voltage increase to 1.2V from 1.093V
Higher achievable clocks with 1.2V
Lower Video clock than FE.
Worked okay with GALAX FE HDMI connector, don't know if it will work with your card or brick.
The fan and power limiting are probably not of interest to you, power did help my card however achieve 8000+ for furmark P1080. Other scores where only slightly better so not so great for me with the fan running 90%. The voltage limit was said to be 1.24V although my card hit VOp in GPU-z at 1.2V. Perhaps the extra voltage might get you 2.3GHz, idk. Me having to use an extra 0.2V for 10% increase in clocks doesn't make it seem that worthwhile. YMMV
Sure, but do realize it's just a generic nVidia VBIOS used and only differences are for an ID number late in the BIOS which might be something like 0321916090925 or 0322116008335 or 0322316004124. Also there are 3 or 4 bytes that change probably due to flasher version used. IOW if backing up a VBIOS and then flashing that same BIOS back those 3 or 4 bytes will be changed if using a different version flasher it would seem.
thanks just a heads up dont flash bios from Galax 1080 HOF will soft brick you card this is the only bios i know of
that is modded for 2x8 pin bios from other card with 2x8 pin are working on 1x8 pin cards or 1x8 1x6 pin so on
this one does not so stay away you can fix the card with second card to boot the pc and flash the bricked 1080
with other bios
