Looks far more accurate to my expectations, looks like Firestrike doesn't care about core count as much as frequency which would mean that there is some coding issues that'll make the 1070 look better than the titan x. Funny they don't put an overclocked 980 ti in there.

Also, Firestrike is synthetic, obviously a card that has 20% of stuff cut off and runs at similar frequencies as 1080 would have just slightly worse result than 1080.

Considering most 980ti cards are sold with some overclock today and the rumor is that 1070 overclocking is locked, 980 ti is better than the 1070. You can get a 980 ti to 1300-1400mhz easy and that would put it well into the scope of 7.0-7.4 teraflops.

That's not rumor, that's a fact: fundhuang version has fairly locked power limit of about 170watts. I do hope others at least get it to 190ish so that you can legitimately get chip to work at 2100 it is capable of all the time. Plus memory.
Well the source is still a known rumor mill but it's better than VideoCardz, I think ultimately till we see a reputable source it's still very much a rumor.

Rumor was that NVidia wasn't going to have something comparable to the 1080 so they'll be locking it's bios too.
Stock 980TI is 1100Mhz if you oc it to 1500Mhz it is 36% performance increase
1070 is 10% faster and after oc to 2Ghz there is 5-10% performance increase.
980TI after OC will be 16-21% faster than 1070 after oc.

Its a good card, but nothing really remarkable especially with the $50 higher price against the 970 and the $100 surcharge for the crappy reference cooler. If NVIDIA are asking big bucks than beating the Titan X is the least they can do.

Yes, its just 60-65% faster than GTX 970. For $50 more
Absolutely terrible
