Elllo fellow gamers gpu enthusiasts and just general newcommers to overclock.net like my self..
Ok so i have recently just purchased a gigabyte gtx 1070 gaming g1 over previous gens 970s and well 1st of all i have to say its a really Good card performance wise but cosmetically and software wise its got a lot to pick at for the price i paid...

1)the rgb lighting wont work correctly and is just plain unresposive and gigabytes xtreme gaming utility is really buggy...HS!....

2)out of the box and after clean installation the middle fan made a rasping noise wen it was required to switch on after uninstalling the card i went fault fing and found that the ribbon cable was arced upward just touch the bottom of the blades... so i had to push it down and wrestle it into a flat position(did it on all 3 jst incase) that solved the problem nicley.

Would have been nice if they used proper anti static plastic for the fan blades?? Coz i have already had to blow it out with compressed air.. only had it 2 days.

Anyways hope that my little insite was useful..

Excepting that they use the same size PCB, and both have 8+6-pin, have identical specs.....they even share the same backplate. Take another look, I believe one of the cards in your comparison was incorrect.
