That's them on overclockers UK for preorder - priced at around £400

That is about £120 too expensive IMO

a 970 successor with 980 to 980 Ti prices? NO thanks. NOT worth it.

Did you mean to say "a 970 successor with 980 Ti to Titan X performance"? tongue.gif

I just saw 1070 prices here in Europe.
I just did the math a single 1070 is more expensive than a pair of sapphire 390 Nitro.
How does a pair of 390 crossfire perform against a single 1070?
I am looking at 1080p.

Cheers

1080p, single card is enough normally.
480 crossfire will beat every single card anyhow including the 1080 and be cheaper than a 1070 btw

Or buy a single GPU solution for $400 like a GTX 1070 and don't have to worry about games micro stuttering or not supporting two cards. thumb.gif

It will be same cost as a GTX 1070, only the founders cost $449

3 possible options

(1) ir works and scales fine

(2) same as 1 but stutter/bugs/flickering hell and endless waiting for driver fixes

(3) CF doesnt work (at least on release)

If it's for 1080p , he could just buy one of those 390's and be fine 99% of the time
