now I'm in a complete puzzle, I sold my 980Ti for 470 a few days ago, was gonna go for 1070 Gaming X (bout the same price as FE) but there's a guy willing to sell me his Titan X for $510.
$40 extra for 980Ti - Titan X, sounds nice to me... what would you do in my shoes ? How do reference Tutan X's oc ? is +1400MHz possible ?

go for GTX1080 if you wanna pay extra, its only $130 for 30% more performance.
or if you don't wanna pay extra, then grab the GTX1070.

There are only reference TitanX's and you can get 1400 plus out of them but I don't know if that requires bios tweaks or not. At this point I don't think getting the 1070 is a bad move since the 980ti is already gone. The 1070 is pretty much on par with a 980ti/Titan and it will get a little better with drivers over time. The slight improvements in DX12 may turn out to be worthwhile down the road. The bugger is waiting to find one in stock.

I guess it really depends on how much the 1070 will cost you in eastern Europe, from what I have been reading the prices kind of suck.

that 300w though biggrin.gif

personally i wouldn't sell 980ti, since you have already done it. 1070 is a better option, because it will perform better in dx12 and dx11 with new games.

or maybe just wait 20 more days and see if amd has something worthy @ 300$ , which can lower the price of 1070. but that's unlikely .

1070 is a better option than titan x, but you wouldn't sell 980ti which is slower than titan x and replace it with a 1070 ?

because i'm a unlucky guy who cannot really get a good price for 980ti ? and i don't want to spend extra even for 20% performance ?

you got a good price for 980ti, doesn't mean everyone can. redface.gif
