No, shouldn't have to mess with voltage at all. The memory/controller on these cards is amazing.

dropped an evga gtx1070 sc into my little devil. pretty happy with it overall, set fps to 60 to eliminate coil whine. silent, even during benchmarking. had to pop the side panel off and look inside to make sure the fans were running.

Great. May your temps be high and your framerates be...wait...

Just a curious question guys since this is the official club for the 1070... How does it handle dual 1440p monitors? Carries it's weight?

I will post pictures later. I have 1 pcie

Here is the pic:

That is a pcie x1 slot right in front of the card.

I'm sorry to say this, but that is a sexy case. I plan on getting a case either black outside and withe in or vice versa.

I was having trouble with my 1070 non oc strix where the voltage and clock basically bounces around non stop during benchmarks. Clock from 1976-2075 and voltage from 993-1093. Anyway I flashed the Strix OC bios to it and finally it was keeping a constant clock and voltage at stock OC strix boost (2035mhz 1093mv). I though all was good but running valley and 3dmark I was getting artifacting. So what this tells me is Asus is definitely binning their cards. Another thing to note is the way they are binning. They are binning chips by TDP. Basically the highest clock my Strix non OC can hit without artifacting when over 100%TDP is 1999. That's why when I run benchmarks with the stock bios it will bounce from 1976-2075mhz. Anyway I'm probably gonna try and return the card and get the OC version. That was I can feel comfortable with the fact that once new games come out that actually push it to 100% TDP the clocks, and resulting framerate, isn't bouncing everywhere.

Just wanted to say i put my 1070 under water, and with graphics intensive gaming in 4K, it never broke 40 degrees...this card runs cool as hell..

And it looks sexy under water biggrin.gif
