Question:
What Graphics Scores have ppl gotten with new PCs on GTX1070-SLI?
(sry to ask but i'm burned out after 4 hours non-stop working, missed lunch, and headed for food. Oh, and my google broke wink.gif... lol) the four week wait for cards was worth it, too! soooo happy. biggrin.gif

Are all the 1070 voltage locked at 1.05v? I tried to increase my GPU voltage on my 1070 strix, still show as 1.05v during load. The other thing is when I'm running Heaven 4.0, boost will show 2100mhz, then 1 minute later, 2082, then 2075, then all the way down to 2062mhz. Is this normal even though my GPU temperature never exceed 65C, plus I have power target to 112%?

The GTX 1080 has 2560 CUDA Cores
The GTX 1070 has 1920 CUDA Cores
The GTX 1060 has 1280 CUDA Cores

So even if all 3 GPU's are clocked at exactly 2000MHz Core Speed and the exact same memory speed. There's a big gap in performance between all three. Well big, relatively speaking.

Oh and don't forget the GTX 1080 has the advantage of not only having the most CUDA Cores, but also GDDR5X Memory instead of GDDR5 like the GTX 1070 & 1060.

So between the 1070 and the 1060 the money difference is the CUDA core difference.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have heard that these GPUs reach their maximum core clocks at 50C and under. Someone said that at 50C, they start decreasing by 10MHz or something. I've heard this actually in a few places, but I haven't seen it replicated or tested.

Anandtech said their full GTX 1070 review will be up tomorrow, so hopefully they test this. It might be planned by NVIDIA, as they mentioned that GPU Boost 3.0 has specific water-cooling enhancements.

Agreed! I just got my 1070 Strix SLI + Asus Predator 3440x1440 100hz Gsync monitor and it has been a gaming dream! Plays everything maxed completely out near 100fps. Most games I have plenty of room use increase resolution scaling. Can't wait for Battlefield One!!!

Btw MadPistol there was no HB bridge to be found quickly when I needed it so I used 2 regular flex SLI bridges and it works perfectly, and looks to be the same performance as the HB bridge. Extreme butter smooth in all games! My buddy told me there will be an issue if you don't use exactly matching single bridges.

It's interesting how much older CPU's tank overall Firestrike scores.

I'm still shopping for a Xeon to replace my i7 to get my scores up.

Very nice, I sold an old MacBook Pro and a GTX 760 Monday on Amazon for $432. Payday is tomorrow and the new monitor itch is strong. My QNIX at 96Hz just doesn't quite cut it now.

mine reads 1.092 in GPU-Z under full load and boost of 1987mhz out of the box.
did you over clock yours to get it over 2000mhz or is that stock out of the box? either thats a nice core clock.
