I'm surprised we haven't seen an influx of new 1070 owners since the RX 480 was released.

My 1070 Armor arrived earlier this week (Tuesday). Although I hope to see AMD succeed, I had no intention of buying their newest GPU.

Bit the bullet on an MSI GTX 1070 Gaming (non-X version) to replace my MSI GTX 670 Power Edition SLI setup. Can't wait to see how it overclocks (and not having a 2 GB VRAM limit anymore).

im not a overclocker on gpus but here's a tiny overclock on the gaming x 1070 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12863137

so happy to be in the 20,000+ club on a single gpu

So in HWmonitor it says my 1070 is running at 1987mhz under load. This is without a OC. That can't be right?

I don't have any OC software on either. Is there a reason for that?

Funny you say that. I was thinking maybe getting 2 but my train derailed on launch, so ordered a EVGA SC 1070 last night.

I've read the 1080 stats on GPU boost 3.0 but that seemed to limit around 1850 mhz... I didn't think 1900+ for a 1070 would be standard?
