Just received mine yesterday (MSI 1070 X Gaming) and I'm really satisfied biggrin.gif. First upgrade in 4 years, came from a gtx 680 Directcu II TOP.
This card has awesome performance and really good temps while it stays silent!

How are your games running ? GTA V, witcher 3, Battlefield ... I will be upgrading from the same card and I want to know what to expect.

I've played farcry 4 the most of the time since i got the card, and it runs between approximately 70 to 100 fps on ultra 1080P. It uses 5,5 GB VRAM though? Kinda strange on 1080P.

I've tested BF4 shortly and it ran solid 144 FPS.

Anyone know if it's possible to flash an MSI Gaming X Bios onto the non-X model? I didn't want to pay $20 for the X model, and the normal model was the only card in stock at my time of purchase.

Also, can someone confirm if the only difference between the two cards is the factory overclock?

Not that bad.

Which version did you flash to? I download the 3MB file from the MSI 1070 support page and extracted it, but I have 2 versions; one ends in 120 and the other 170 (These are rough guesses as I cannot remember tbe exact numbers). Which one is the fastest version included on MSI's site?

That's an amazing score dude, it's just 1571 in between. Did you notice better performance as well with the hotfix driver?
