Welp looks like what you got now is all the performance you will able to squeeze. So the rules of thumb are

1. Boost 3.0 will throttle GPU speeds so keep it as cool as possible.
2. Pray for Samsung memory so can get the best overclocking speeds for RAM

So honestly this means you really need to grab one of those water cooled 1070s. Not sure which is the best.

Or if you grab a blower style then you better get the coolest 3 fan 1070 and be sure to install it into a cool PC case with good air flow to keep temps down.
But again this is only if you absolutely need max speeds. Locking my voltage and creating stabilized profiles got me locked in at 2050 mhz (Boost 3.0 fluctuates between 2000 to 2088 mhz depending on ambient temps) and 9500 mhz memory for my max setting. I normally game at 2050 and 9000mhz because that all that most games need at maxed 1080p or 2k. We'll see when Gears drop next week and Mafia 3 drops tomorrow.

Hey guys, so I just installed my new 1070 and have been noticing that my GPU Usage is not at 99%. It's usually around 70ish. My temps are fine. I tried both BF4 and Fallout and both show the same thing. I took a picture of BF4 for you guys.

My FPS is decent (usually over 100 in BF4) but it should be higher. On a side note, my 1070 FE has Samsung memory. Any suggestions?

No Vsync or anything enabled? I ask because I don't know if your monitor is 120hz or greater.

There you go:

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/15265824

I also OC'd my GPU (First time ever OC'ing). I used MSI Afterburner and did not touch my Voltage. I added 210 to the core clock and 600 to the memory clock. It was stable in Firestrike and Heaven Benchmark.

I've included those results here for you too:

That is really low (3d mark)I have the same processor and mine is hitting 15700 and my ram is no where near yours (+400) only... it might be error correcting on the memory being to high

It's not terribly but it should be better.
A 6600k should clock to 3900Mhz, not to 3800Mhz, but that could be a simple reading error.

There is also the Time measuring inaccuracy, did you Alt - Tab out of the test on some point?

Download hwinfo64 > sensors only > fullscreen > open all sensors.

Set your GPU to stock.

Run Fire Strike again.

After the benchmark is finished make a screenshot of hwinfo64. Make sure all CPU, Motherboard and GPU readings are visible. (clocks, temps voltage etcetera.)
