Edit just seen the above post! biggrin.gif so temps seem good is it noisy though? I'm planning on putting it in my GHTPC so noise levels are important.

Its quiet and cool. I keep it between 60-75 Celsius but haven't watched where it stabilizes. My fan curve takes care of everything and never goes above 70% which is still extremely quiet with how some people explain their GPUs. With headphones going I don't even hear a slight hum from it. Cranked it up to 100% to hear how it was and I still wouldn't say it was bad. Thoroughly impressed overall with the FE edition. Would suggest waiting for a cheaper AIB if you can for a maybe better cooler though. If you can't wait though you shouldn't be disappointed.

How come I haven't heard anyone mention anything about ASIC score?

When do the <$400 cards come out? I thought MSRP was supposed to be $379....

I'm looking for the EVGA SC version myself but figured I would post it since they are in such short supply.

I'm on the same boat, waiting for a $379 1070 to come out, and then I can put on my trusty old Arctic cooling mono s1 plus on it. thumb.gif

Possibly these two below will be very close to the $379 mark, hopefully. mad.gif

Woohoo time to cancel my Amazon preorder. I ordered a Gigabyte G1 from Newegg last Friday and I just ordered a second one when it popped up on Newegg. These things are hard to find in stock right now. Nowinstock text alerts are great.
