While Playing PlayerUnknowns battle Grounds Ive started getting crashes with a window that pops up stating that Ive run out of GPU memory. I'm running 2 MSI EK Seahawks in SLI, i thought the cards would be able to handle that game with no problems. I do have the game set to Ultra but I don't think that it should be a problem. I've played the Division with no issues so this is a bit puzzling.

Could I have sensitive cards? Wonky memory? Do I need to upgrade Bios? Ive tried overclocking but I can't get anything above 200mhz over stock. readign through the forums ive seen numbers that surpass that they are using stock coolers whiile mine is under water. I'm debating on unplugging the cards and changing out my thermal paste. Strange thing is, my temps are good.

I'm kind of bummed out with my cards at the moment. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. ty.

Google "playerunknown's battlegrounds memory error" and you will get pages of results showing memory problems after recent update. http://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/topic/5419-memory-error-please-post-specifics/ I would start in their forum.

Is this a known issue? It seems to happen only on the first boot of the day.

specifically no, however, intermittent problems like that tend for be indicative of voltage levels that are hovering around the level of failure. As the GPU is new, I am guessing that it is the unaccustomed load that your 2500K rig is finding itself under that is pushing a requirement to the very edge of stability. Increasing VCCIO will help the PCIE and memory controllers.

If it is not VCCIO, and it still keeps happening, it could be the ram voltage or vcore. Try one at a time, you should not need to increase any of them by very much.

Ok thanks for the answer, I put the VCCIO at 1.075.
I think my MB is pretty weak (P8Z77-V LX), so it could be faulty.
If the problem happens again I will push the VCCIO again.

Link you provided doesn't seem to load

Raising the VCCIO to 1.10 didn't change anything, PC still fail to boot on the first try.
Try with no CPU OC, with no success, the problem still occurs after the PC is off for about 10 minutes.
I see this after the windows logo, stay for 5 seconds and then the screen turns completly black:

I've a SeaSonic 620GM2

Edit: Disable Fastboot in Windows 10 seems to work for now, but I wonder if the problem comes from the MB, GPU or PSU

Yes it's possible, though you'll need to bypass the hardware subsystem ID mismatch in NvFlash. Takes some extra command I think a "-6" at the end

The correct one is STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING, BIOS v. 86.04.50.00.63

It's not a problem that's have different phases, layout etc...?

If it safe...
I have microns shouldn't be better to install something newer?
