I can see 980Ti OC from pro overclocker can be in the same level as Titan X pascal 2016 Afaik.

So far 1070 is not really favored by pro overclocker.

The only 1070 wins against 980ti is performance per watt. You really need a lucky sample of 1070 to pass 22k Graphic scores imo,

I mean very less opportunity to get that kind of 1070 I believe.

+20k is the most for 1070 OC. +21K also can be considered good silicon chip.

I'm actually a bit curious why you are posting in this thread when you don't own a 1070, if you just want to brag on your 980Ti I am sure there is a thread for that.

Not many, if any, people in this thread came from a 980Ti, unless you were looking for lower power usage the performance difference between them was too close to justify it. A 1080 I could see.

You get very good overclocks it is true, but you also have the ability to edit the bios and don't have gpu boost 3.0 to deal with, if that was true of the 1070 you would see some better numbers.

And if we are bragging on cards, my 1070 was probably at least $200 cheaper than your 980Ti.

Hell yeah 1070 still solid for it's price & performances, I own 1070, and I don't even own 980ti.
btw are you quoted a wrong person?

My daily clocks are 1600/2000 but even with these clocks I only saw a few 1070 barely beating my GPU score.I saw some people upgrading from a OC´d 980Ti to a 1070(also OC´d) and actually losing FPS and graphics score. My 980Ti is pretty rare (in terms of OC potential) and outscoring every 1070 except 1/10000 in every FireStrike.

I never wanted to brag.I just wanted to find out if theres any 1070 air/watercooled highly oc´d that could beat my 980Ti and i guess a 1070 owners club is a good place for that.In every comparison video between 980ti/1070/1080 they use like the worst reference 980ti sleeping at stupid low clocks so this information is completely useless.

Rarely 1070 can be overclock to 2,3GHz....
1920SP @ 2,3GHz (but you need to mod cooling for watter)
2816SP @ 1,5GHz

So SP power are almost same...
But bandwidth 980 Ti is much better and that is the reason why 980 Ti is more powerfull
