Gtx 1080 PPD !!! 800k + ? - Page 3

Wow I must be missing something. I am currently folding on 2x 1080s and a 980 and I'm getting on 200-280k per day

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=524347

What am I doing wrong?!

Yeah, something wrong there. That 980 at least should be getting higher PPD than that by itself.

Is there a sticky somewhere that I overlooked on how to set this card up?

I'm sure I just didn't set it up right. All I've done was install the client, updated GPUs.txt and added the client-type advanced tag. I haven't folded for a long time so I'm sure I forgot something or there is something new I have to do.

Any help would be appreciated!

Did you fold 10 work units already? You have to fold 10 WU and stay above 80% completion to get quick return bonuses and that's where the majority of points come from, I just setup my r9 390 last month and my first 10 WU with it were like 9000 PPD and when the QRB kicked in it was 300k

I do not have an active passkey anymore. I had one back when I was folding for Infinity. It is required now for big work units?

Yes, I've been folding 20+ WU a day for about a week.

Most points come from the Quick Return Bonus (QRB). That requires a passkey. Go to the link and enter your old email used with your prior passkey and you'll get an email with the string of letters/numbers. Or a new email and get a new passkey. It doesn't go inactive as far as I know.

Without QRB you're just getting base points which is a very small fraction of what you should be getting.

Yep, get that passkey and give us some numbers on those 1080s. biggrin.gif

Have you started folding with your passkey?
