Interesting, I wonder what they did. In using a white Zowie logo ZA13 and the 3310 feels fine. I may go for an FK2 and see what happens.

I got a used red logo ec2a just recently and beside the speed variance being different the sensor felt the same in comparison to the white logo za11 I have. It would be a shame if zowie messed up their 3310 implementation.

I have an Fk1 BenQ version and it's excellent. However, got an Fk1+ to see if I would like that extra width more because I already love the Fk1 shape, however, the build quality was abysmal. Left and right mouse buttons had unnecessary travel after actuation which usually isn't a big deal but since the Fk variants require more force to click it was noticeable every time. Also, this was finally the first time I've gotten a Zowie mouse where the rattle in the scrollwheel was extremely noticeable immediately out of box.

How is the shape of the FK1+ to you? the little extra couple mm's make a difference in the hand or no? sucks you got a QC issue with it, never had that with any zowie.

IMHO the BenQ mice should cost half of what they do right now based on quality, availability and features.
The only perfection they have is that they are perfectly overpriced.

+1

Well this puts the brakes on my FK2 purchase. What aspects of the mice have degraded since the BenQ acquisition of ZOWIE?

Scrol wheel went from bad to disgusting, some people are reporting problems with clicks being loose, loud rattles, above posts talk about messed up sensor performance and lets not talk about the amount of complains in /r/mousereview. Its like everyone is getting QC issues now at Finalmouse level even pro players are bashing the Red zowies

I find the extra width quite pleasant. For tracking targets and general moving around it's my new preferred shape, but for precision shots the slightly narrower body of the regular Fk1 still is more effective for me.

I tested out some display models of the FK1s as a local shop, the scroll on them feel 100 times better then mine. Guess it's time to RMA.

It seems like 90% of you think zowie ec1/2-a are bad. What alternative can you recommend?
