Switch failure is the #1 reason people replace their mice. Being able to effortlessly swap in new switches when yours start to wear is a rather nice feature.

As for replacing them with omrons... no not everyone. even if they did, there are so many variations of omrons and everyone has their own preference.

Looks like something I would really like if it is <120mm long and <100g with weights removed. I kind of doubt it though.
