Edit: decided to just order another 6700K wife was a little unhappy with the amount of money I would drop and the reviews that keep coming out just do not get me excited enough to drop that kind of cash. Guess I will wait a few months for prices to stabilize and hopefully decrease before switching to x99...sad day

Bummer...I am trying to find a 6850k, although I am upgrading from nothing (side-mounted Noctua D14 split old ivy bridge computer).

Yeah yeah I know no fun for me. Was really looking forward to some days filled with boot failures memtest running for an hour then finally faulting, and the sad face ( frown.gif ) of the blue screen of death from all the testing and benching I was going to do. Oh well gives me even more reason to wait for SL-E. Was looking forward to BW-E but man after spending days reading the benchmarks I can't say I'm not a little disappointed by the chip
