BH7 Build Log - "White Raptor" - Page 9

Not yet when I go to water cool the set up will pick up my dust filters which will be really soon. Trying to decide how to run this loop in a way that will be nothing but the best. Your want to go with your gut for which case. I personally felt drawn to the bh7 and the fact you fit a full atx which was amazing because of it being a small form factor case. Trust your gut it never will fail you thumb.gifthumb.gif

So update on white raptor... I decided to return the noise blockers as much as they are great fans they will not do the trick when it comes to the space in the case after mounted to the radiator. I thinking will go with a slim fans to mount in the front of the case and it will still look great and hopefully cool the coolant and case. If anyone has suggestions let me know I am open for them thumb.gif

A little odd by being 120x130 but it's 13mm thickness...

@Gabrielzm is doing a build in a BH4 using silverstone slim fans. Here's the link to the log, I think he said they were good fans.

So I think I found a fan and based on reviews and performance it should do the trick and it is a PWM control and a slim fan which will make the fan even better thumb.gif

I ended up going with a 4 X Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 12 120mm x 15mm PWM Fan -White.

Tell me what you all think... if any one has had these let me know what you all think and your experience with them.

Thanks everyone for helping me look for a slim fan smile.gif

They're good, just be wary of any obstructions inside the case that the blades may hit. A system builder out of I know out of New Orleans pointed out the frailty of the fan blades on that particular model.

Thanks for the heads up on that thumb.gif

How close are your Ti's to hitting the front 120? From the angle they look like they are almost touching. I'm doing everything I can to try and get in this case, had mine ordered, realized my 970 g1 was about an inch longer than I thought, I could have made it work with no 120 up front but that will never happen.

I got at least 4 inches with my GPUs before it feels uncomfortable biggrin.gif

Would recommend slim fans either a 15mm or 20mm fan for sure in this case after looking t it closer. I will let you know how much more space I get once I get my slim fans in and then mount them to the radiator to give you a idea of what I am working with.

But yeah all in all my temps on air are stable and my GPUS seem to be in normal range and kick on when it heats up to push the hot air out.

So I decided to not have so much heat on my M.2 drive. I found that thing might throttle with the heat under the 2 GPUs so as a precaution I ended up picking up a

Angelbird Wings PX1 PCIe x4 M.2 Adapter. Thing looks super sleek and will work nicely with the build. Will take pics once I get it in hand which should be Friday so stay tuned. Here is a pic I found online that gives you a idea of what it will look like
