Help me choose between Zowie mice

Thread Starter
I'm looking to get either the Zowie ec1-a or ec2-a, but since I can't try them in a store I was wondering if someone can guide me by showing pics of my hand on a g502 mouse. I'm leaning towards the ec2-a because I play a claw/ Palm.

I would go with ZA12 or EC2-A. These are my most consistent with aiming shapes from Zowie for me, however judging by the picture i would suggest you EC1-A. Going for FK would be something you are not used to.

On side note, i lost interest in Zowie mice since they keep holding onto 3310 even when competitors are going beyond.

Yeah thats a good question why hasn't zowie fixed their clicks, latency and started announcing use of the new 3360 sensor??

Because Zowie are always the slowest to do anything. They sell anyway, and are happy releasing 50 versions of the same mouse without fixing things people complain about.

Scroll wheel that is probably the worst one on the market, sidebuttons with way to much travel (especially on the EC series), latency, horrible difference between clicks due to their shell design (which should be possible to fix).

I love the FK2 shape but I hate everything else about the mouse, tried the EC2-A recently but same thing, shape good, buttons slightly better but overall, no.

This year everyone is going with 3360 sensor and I will be waiting to pick one up that I find interesting.

Who is really going beyond though...really? Of the 3360 mice there is the FM Scream, which who really know when it's coming and when it does it could be a total POS. Logitech which has been using the sensor for some time because it was theirs to begin with and steel series, which as far as I know has put it in one mouse and its basically a gimmick.

Razer, Corsair and Roccat are all still using the 3310 and as far as I know have not announced anything with the 3360....because Ive been looking. Correct me if I'm wrong.....

We gotta stop running into each other like this..but again maybe I'm special..but ive experienced none of that with my FK2. I have no issues with the scroll wheel, granted this is a preference thing so I let that go as different strokes.

side buttons are ok, nothing special..but Ive had no issues...but I also came from a mouse with no side buttons at all. And I have an FK2, different shell

Ive never noticed any issues with click latency...Ive tested the mouse...I tested it against the avior 7k with that bloodymouse test site, or whatever it was, I know totally unscientific, and couldn't notice a difference.

Can't really tell a difference between the right and left click on mine.

Basically what I'm doing here is trying to point out that everyone's experience is different. You can read all the stuff you want but you're never really going to know unless you try it for yourself.....don't take other people's word on things.

I will wholeheartedly agree that Zowie is the absolute slowest to do anything. They probably will not upgrade to the 3360 until they absolutely have to. I think every major mouse make out there had 3310 mice out and zowie was still using the 3090 and their janky lens. They finally released 1 mouse with the 3310, and only then because the 3090 was EOL, and took what like 3 months to even announce the FK2 and even longer before upgrading others.

The point is that this year is the year of the 3360.
Everyone is at least looking to use it.
Steelseries, Corsair already have one each, not the best mice no but they started at least.
FM is working on one, CM seems to be using them in their new lineup from computex etc.

I really doubt Zowie will even hint of a 3360 mouse anytime soon.

You wont hear any arguments about that from me. I agree I doubt we will see even a hint of a 3360 mouse from zowie until next year at the earliest. Which is really unfortunate, maybe benq realizes that this practice in the past was not good...but I don't have my hopes up.

I was really excited for the Scream..but after how long it took to even announce it, plus the delays, plus FMs history of QC issues, allegedly, I dont think Im even considering that mouse anymore.

Id really like to see a roccat with a 3360 but given that they only have one mouse with even the 3310 I don't have my hopes up for that either.

I've given up on finalmouse and their scream one... I'm just going to relax and wait patiently for zowie to use the 3360...

What so different between 3310 and 3360 is it real worth the extra money and buy a new same mouse?
real.. I have kinzu v3 rapoo v 300 and za13
I play a bit better on kinzu v3 than the za13 due to the shape although it has 3050 sensor it's all about the shape than sensors (A3050 and up) IMO.
god.. I'd pay good for a mouse that has a shape that I like and 3050/3090 sensor in it!

getting g100s soon hope it will be a decent enough shape for me.

no it's not worth it. stick to the 3050, it's fine
also, there are so many mice with 3050 and 3090, i bet at least one of them should have a shape for you
