Witcher 3 does look very good but Crysis 3 maxed out is still the best looking game ever made in my personal opinion.

Not bad, this 470 looking better and better, only 10% behind 480. I hope it's around $150.

Here are some new RX 480 benchmarks, and for the first time ever we are also including RX 470.

What I can tell you about RX 480 scores is that the lowest score we have seen so far is around 15520 points. The highest score we have seen is 18060, and it was posted in our previous story as ‘best-case scenario’. The average score is 16823.

Meanwhile RX 470, which I assume is codenamed 67DF:C4 has the lowest score of ~13100. The highest reported score is 16164. Based on our data, the average score of RX 470 is 13368.

Based on the average scores, the RX 480 is 25% faster than the RX 470

Based on the highest scores, the RX 480 is 11.7% faster than the RX 470

Based on the lowest scores, the RX 480 is 18.5% faster than the RX 470

You seem to be taking the optimistic route biggrin.gif

Honestly, the 480 price point is so compelling at $200 that I don't know how much of a market a $150 470 will have? Why wouldn't you just fork over the extra $50 for a much better card?

Honestly disagree. Crysis 3 is a linear game after all so it can take more of its time ironing out the small details in its world... but even then I would not say it looks better overall. Nor is as impressive of a technological achievement tongue.gif

Then again art style trumps fidelity and is subjective.

Agree, for an open world like TW3 the graphics is absolutely stunning thumb.gif

The same market the 950 has with the 960 that close in price.

Also the RX 470 seems not too far behind RX 480 around 15% but the price difference is 25% and that makes the 470 an even better p/p cards
For people not planning to upgrade above 1080p and limited funds that is an even better choice

With how cheap they are, why not get two? Do they support more than 2 cards in crossfire?
