ChevChelios beat me to it biggrin.gif Tnx

No the $199 480 is not going to have 32 CUs and 15% less performance compared to the 8GB 480 like you hilariously suggested.

and its only logical that that card will be a bit less powerful then the 8GB one

so I feel like the people who are hyping themselves up for $199 P10 to be 980/980+ level will get dissapointed redface.gif

$199 4GB P10 will be between 970 and 980 or so and the 8GB P10 ($230 ? $240 ? $250 ?) will be the 980+ card
Your comment is not necessary.
He was clearly addressing the hole 32CU assumption.
The fact that we will have a 4gb version doesn't mean it will have less CUs than the 8gb version.

I'll need to dig up a link to how the contest for the logo was won. Its a great story and thanks for reminding me. thumb.gif

Can you make one for Chev? lol

If NVIDIA has shown anything, its that they like taking those gauntlets and slamming them back into the thrower's face. Hence why I said this is going to be an awesome year to be a gamer; this competition thing will be awesome! thumb.gif
They will do what they can, but if nvidia waits a few months with the 1060 AMD will be able to cut Polaris prices.
I don't know how low Nvidia can go whit a 1060. The rumored price was like 240$.

RX 480 could be an achiever.

On paper, a pair of 8gb versions these look to be a tad over the 295x2 in specs but with 8gb available ram instead of 4. Will help in 4k gaming.

In the leaked benchmarks it is not specified if the RX480 used in CF were the 4gb or the 8gb versions.

Actually you can open it down and see driver names. Both are 67DF:C7 cards.

are you sure these two are C7 and C4 and not two C7s ?

also C4 is the lower P10 version or P11 ?
