Frankly I see the goal being early 2017 for Vega.

But ANY good business would move product up for release if it is truly ready and they can truly capitalize on the release. Same goes for pushing it back if it isn't ready. I see AMD in a position where ANY action by them can bee seen as a panic move that signals the end of the company and as such really put the company stock in penny stock category. Not saying this IS the case, but it could very well be the case. Offering up a VERY conservative release time frame that for the most part they have every chance of hitting.

As many people have said, AMD can't screw this release up, that includes missing the targeted release date for ANY reason, even if the reason is GF having poor yields because of a bad process.

This whole Vega news bothers me.... If we're not getting any info till Q1 2017, means we'll be stuck with the GTX 1080/70 till that time with nothing new for the rest of the year rolleyes.gif so boring.

Not necessarily. We don't know what else AMD is going to do. They said at the press conference that there is more to come.

Well, technically were indeed tests of some P11 Extra Spicy chips.

Nobody have even seen a hint of them since then.

But yeah, otherwise P11 status is exact same as Bristol Ridge on desktop: it exists but good luck finding it.

uh no surprise since there's a NDA? rolleyes.gif

Have you even looked at 5 minutes of AMD's Computex announcement? They said they were going to launch Polaris products starting from 100$. What do you think those are?

Well technically they don't exist as a product yet. They have only been announced, not launched and not for sale YET.
