Nvidia drivers causing extreme system latency issue

Thread Starter
Running W10 I noticed when I enabled SLI with overwatch open the latency spiked to over 5sec so I decided to revert to W7 (via w10 option) and DDU'd the drivers and reinstalled them. Now...it does it again. System latency becomes so high I cannot use the pc normally when overwatch is running and SLI is enabled.

I have not tested this with other games but it is horrid. In latencymon it shows nvidias kernel as the one with highest effect on the system, go figure. I would rather try to get down to a fix before I go and waterblock GPUs on tuesday when order is delivered...just incase it is the GPU. Specs in sig~

The first thing I recommend is, trying another driver instead of simply reinstalling the one you're currently using. Try a few different drivers to see if you can find a driver that gives you the most desirable or reasonable results.

If after 3-5 driver versions you don't find a driver that gives you better performance, then I would say you probably have another problem somewhere. Let's wait and see what happens though before we make any conclusions.
