Razer Core Reviews - Page 5

Razer Core is 42% to 12% slower than a GPU directly connected to the motherboard. It might even trade blows with a 970M in the cases where it's up to 42%.

Does the connection cable quality caused this? I think someone needs to test this with a desktop. Test one, GPU directly connected to desktop. Test 2 GPU connected through the Core. Test 3, using different quality cables.

Not much in the way of benchmarks, but here's a new video review from Dave Lee: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOFZGCwoRmo

His video claims 85-90% but the graph in the OP says otherwise. Results might be worse in the CPU bound scenarios if he used a 4720HQ or 4770K.
26 / 38 = witcher
48 / 53 = fallout / benefits from HT
28 / 35 = dragon age
31-45 vs 25-45 = crysis 3 / benefits from HT

Interesting, around ~8% loss. In addition to the performance loss, I wonder if some delay is added.
