I doubt OLED desktop monitors will ever take off, due to the nature of desktop work. Desktops show static images far longer then phones, and when a convertible does get a OLED screen, it aggressively turns the display off during inactivity, as ars found out. Burn in will be a serious problem for desktop users, and I dont fancy having to replace a monitor every 2-3 years. Heck, my old monitor is 12+ years old, still works great. My two year old note? burn in. Heck, I've seen burn in on note 5s in carrier stores. and those are only a year old.

For some weird reason nobody is doing 1440p or higher at 24 inch or smaller.

They are always 27 inches.

a 1440p 24 inch monitor would be sexy IMO.

yeah i ended up getting an FW900 since i can live with the desk depth space being taken up. width is a bit tight but, doable.

There's a lot of panels like that. 24" 4K, too. I would like smaller oled panels as long as they get that image retention issue sorted. Anything smaller than 40" for me.

Theres a few 24" 1440p 144hz TN panels coming, yeah i know yuck TN heh... I would really love to get my hands on a 120hz+ 4k OLED that is at least 30". I've basically just listed the specs of that Dell UP3017Q, but i of course also want gsync/freesync in there too. It's going to still be some time before a display with those specs gets down to more affordable prices, till then im gonna hold out with my XB240H rolleyes.gif

DX12 is supposed to support individual monitor rendering. Now ......how many OLED Tablets do we need to debezel to get a 22'' OLED monitor.

If DX12 isn't your thing than Eyefinity / SLI should work as well. But I think you are limited on 6 screens. I am in for the project.

Now who is kind enough to buy the OLED Tablets ?

3 in theory, samsung has a 12" OLED tablet, it has a 2160 x 1440 resolution.
you can put them on portrait and have 3 side by side, it'll have a total resolution of 4320 x 2160.
4K resolution is 3840 x 2160 by the way.
