This needed to be 32 Inch min, 27 is way to small for a 4K display.

no its not, 27" is too big for 4K resolution.

4K @ 32" is 137.68 PPI
4K @ 27" is 163.18 PPI
4K @ 24" is 183.58 PPI
4K @ 21" is 209.80 PPI
4K @ 12" is 367.15 PPI (tablet)
4K @ 6" is 734.30 PPI (phone)

we need a monitor with an average of 300 PPI.

Distance to monitor is what matters!

and how far would it be? theoretically your sitting distance from a desktop monitor as you game is only 2~3feet.
a hand-held tablet is usually held at a distance of 1~2feet, where as a phone is usually held at a distance of less than 1feet.

it was assumed that a human eye can barely discern pixels of 900PPI at 1feet away, which means the theoretical limit at 3feet is 300PPI.

4K @ 27'' is perfect. Well atleast for me.

I have a 1080p@24'' and already sit kinda far away. I got a rather big desk and I put it at the very end. Bigger than 30'' would be an absolute pain for me and overstimulating my senses biggrin.gif
