[PCPER] ROG ASUS RAMPAGE V Edition 10 - Page 15

I assume the answer to rioja question is that it reserves PCIE lanes for m.2 and U.2 .
If you wish to use 4 way sli then it will be at the expense of PCIE storage.

Let’s be honest graphics card currently have trouble maxing out 8bit and NVidia 1080 doesn’t recommend anything above 2 way SLI.

The configuration he is looking for isn't possible regardless of PCIE storage devices connected. However I agree it's a non issue

Yes, but SSD placed to M2 socket may be overheated, and it would be better to use SSD in PCIEx4 adapter with passive cooling, smth like this

And it turnes out that such standard configuration with 2 graphic cards as x16 and SSD PCIEx4 is not possible

Now I am debating whether migrate from my X99 TUF or not

Will do. I am debating whether to change my case and build altogether. Once I get my plans straight I'll post some pics
