Look what you've done! biggrin.gif

I installed the board, turned on the powersupply. Wow, the LED lights are awesome. IMO they are brighter and superior to the MSI Godlike board I had before. Setup was painless without an issue. Right now I have my haswell chip installed. I RMAed my broadwell chip with newegg so I will test OC next week when I get the new chip.

This board is just GORGEOUS.

Here are some pics and videos:

Just a quick question, what is the distinction between x99 strix and rampage v?

Is the rampage v for extreme oc sub zero?

Dual NIC, 3x3 wifi, more led lights (instead of that orange sticker), EATX instead of atx, few other things mentioned earlier in this thread.

Just ordered this motherboard from newegg now I just gotta wait for my caselabs s8. this boards so nice looking in wondering if I will regret my choice to go with the s8 vs the sm8a since you won't see it as well. Even though I have an external dac, and headphone amp I'm still interested in the supreme fx hifi. Im assuming you can do some Op amp rolling I want to try some burson audio v5 or the new v5i

I'm totally in love in Rampage V 10th Edition but not only in board look.
I like settings on this motherboard and features. 4 USB 3.0 ports from ASMedia on back panel for External HDD, Exterlan DVD-RW, Web Camera,
4th place for USB Flash for ASUS Flashback without CPU, GPU and Memory.
2x USB 3.1 Type A and 2x USB 3.1 Type C on back panel for new tools. 2x USB 2.0 for keyboard/mouse.
On board 4x USB 3.0 Intel controller for easier connection with front panel if you flash BIOS with EZ or want to install OS from Flash or want something fast to copy from PC, etc...
Perfect, perfect layout. I didn't meet for now on other motherboards this kind of perfection. Only is bad because I was aware of everything before one year but I couldn't wait for now to first time met with X99. sadsmiley.gif Dear god, when I remember every day question and decision what to do... because plan was Black silver build.
Great, great motherboard, on side all of these fantastic LED effects, that's only one more plus but even without that fantastic board.
I would felt bad to spend my money on Godlike near this miracle. This is best optimization for Broadwell-EX but because very small differences between CPU performance even people with Haswell-EX get better and newer motherboard. ASUS learned and tested many things from August 2014 and I expect great hardware. Lucky owners could enjoy until Skylake Extreme show up, I think for example 14-15 months maybe.

I saw KLEVV CRASS in Hungary for 190euro 2666MHz 32GB, that kit look best on this board.
OK Dominator Platinum and HyperX Predator as well.
Maybe and I will upgrade on RV10THE. Than I could easy to melt brain of GIGABYTE, MSI and ASRock owners next 2 years until Skylake EX and Rampage 6 show up. biggrin.gif
If ASUS decide to go only with bigger Rampage boards I will not go on mATX Form factor in future. mATX only on Rampage Gene maybe.
OK Godlike is excellent motherboard, but MSI should launch that board now in time with new processors and optimized for new processors. It's not same when board show up in same time with new generation and one year earlier, people upgrade only because USB 3.1 and RGB LED.
Rampage V 10 is build with all advantages of X99 platform and design for 14nm processors, with new Intel Turbo Boost 3.0 Technology but 22nm work normal as well.

For me is not question how someone could pay 600$ for Rampage Black, it's weird how someone could pay 500-550$ for something else when this board is on shelves, example Z170, or Godlike, some GIGABYTE Z170 I saw 570$. That's biggest question, who make such decision, pardon mistake? biggrin.gif
