Years ago I was all for cable sleeving for example, these days I find it be a waste of time, effort and money.
The exact same thing applies to lighting, clear side panels, and colour coordinated builds.

Though I can still admire a nice custom loop, just not for the purposes of a display..

Ah yes...anyone who knows their stuff can appreciate a sleeper. The look on people's faces going from "are you serious?" to "holy *%#@!" is the best part biggrin.gif

What is the release date on the edition 10? I ordered it on Amazon as soon as it was listed with a 6900k but the release dates on both are still wishy washy on Amazon.

I thought June 17th. Yea I'm still debating doing the same thing with a case lab s8. My formula z87 took a crap on me and figure it's time to move up since I have a tri fire setup

Successor of i7-6950X will have six channel memory controller.
Chipset will be much stronger than X99 with more lanes, probably 20, CPU will have max 48 PCI-E lanes and socket will have 3646 pin, 1636 pin more than 2011.

What you expect?
Where is compatible E5-2699 V3...??? Off course in same board as i7-5820K same as Xeon V4 with 22 Cores and 55MB Cache.
You think only for Skylake E will make one socket for Xeon and one socket for successor of i7-6950X...???
But even now Quad Channel is good, only we need faster performance per core and higher clock/Turbo on Six Core CPU.
It's shame that i7-6850K have 200MHz Turbo, i7-4930K had 500MHz.

I find it funny on a website that has full of people making overboard builds with internal or external custom water loops, LN2, UV reactive coolant/tubing. LED lights within the case and on fans, custom painted/modded towers would ***** about simple LED lighting on a motherboard.

This site should change its name to minimalistpc.net.

You're looking at it. Nomenclature is a little different this time around but this is the big daddy Asus X99.

Glad I looked it up! P35 was a fun era, I loved finding that fine balance between chipset/cpu/ram overclock smile.gif
