Looks like 1002 is a beta BIOS. 0901 is still the latest released (not beta) BIOS.

how does your compare? I just got the full block because it looks cool. the 6950 hits a wall and it isn't because of heat, so i haven't looked at temps. (it block is MUCH!! worse as looking the CPU just a pure CPU block)
What is the CPU package? that sucker gets hot. smile.gif

Can you do me a fav and look in the bios and see if the GPU post info it wrong like mine wink.gif

edit: now that i'm looking.. i kinda wish i could go back in time and not use this block. holy cow does it suck at cooling the CPU.

ASUS also released new QVL. nothing with 128GB, but at least something beyond 2800MHz
the highest speed they reached with all 8 dimms were 3200MHz

soooo lonely with only one video card.

Cracks like that are normally caused by the screw being too long and bottoming out in the hole.

Getting a refund from Newegg. Love the board but the DAC still does not work under Win 10 anniversary. Might as well save money and go with either an Asus Deluxe 2 or Gigabyte Designare. Oh well...

I compared the temperature with the Rampage V Extreme where the temperature is much lower, water temp 25°, PCH at 28° and VRM at 30° (idle)

With the R5E10, water at 27°, PCH at 36 °and VRM at 38°
I find it hot to the idle

You have the temparature of the water for you (or ambient temperature) ?

Thanks

PS: I look in the bios for the graphic card

There are additional options in the BIOS to speed boot (compared to R5E) ?
There it is worse and worse

R5E, bios 2xxx : 9.8sec
R5E, bios 3xxx : 14sec
R5E10, bios 0901 : 29sec...
