Win 10 HDD Question

Thread Starter
Yesterday i had my windows 10 installed on my WD Black HDD. When i went to eject my usb thumb drive i by accident hit the WD Black drive and it came up with a error that it can not be ejected.

I want to know 2 things

I assume that Windows 10 does not allow you to eject the OS HDD Correct?

Also by hitting the Eject my WD Black do you think i caused any damage?

IDK if im worrying about nothing since the HDD did not eject it just gave me a error. I already went into the bios and turned off the hotswap on all my HDD so they will not show in that Windows 10 Eject Widget in control center in the bottom right corner unless i insert a usb drive or something

Windows as a system is pretty dumb. But its not that dumb to disconnect OS drive. wink.gif

There shouldn't be any single adverse effect of eject command on system drive.

No damage was done. I just tried it on a space PC. No issues.
