PSU compartment showing your PSU sticker. The panels are screwed(LOL), which to me is a plus because even having a huge desk, my computer is placed just where I like it and a hinged panel opening to the rear would colide wih my window door. And to me it seems a timeless case like the best In Win or Lian Li, it just belongs in a museum.

I mean, LOOK AT THIS REVIEW.

I think the new EVGA case looks better to be honest, the Phantek just has that tempered glass, that's it.

Looks are quite subjective, I think both cases are quite visually appealing, and the other thing the Phanteks has over the EVGA is the think aluminium outer shell. Its also less big, which might be a positive or negative depending how you look at it.

In the end they're both good cases, with their own pro's and con's,

If you're into heaters tongue.gif

EVGA here, yo. We heard you really like rubber cutouts for cable management, so we put ALL OF THEM. biggrin.gif

JK wink.gif

As always, taste is personal. The Phanteks it's not just looks, it's materials(almost no plastic, while to me it seems the EVGA one has it's fair bit), design and functionality. The Tempered Glass is just an elegant adition to an already proven superb case. I really like elegance over bling or aggressive design.

While the EVGA seems to me just another of those teenage black industrial angst which was so en vogue some years back in terms of looks.

Man, that took me back. I rocked the blue version of that case for quite a while. That was the first case that I ever cut up, at one point I had 6 Delta 200 cfm fans in it... that thing sounded like a passenger jet.

It's awesome that you still have the front door for yours. I think mine broke within the first few months.

I wonder if they still sell those. I wouldn't mind grabbing one and scrounging the web for some old components so I can recreate my old system and hang it from the ceiling like a piece of art.

Did anyone who preordering one of the DG's get hit with a RIDICULOUS shipping fee?

Well... depends on what you consider ridiculous, but yeah $49 for ground is a little steep.
