As opposed to those pc "fanboys" that gobbled up that joke of a Hard Reset "remaster"wink.gif

I think the majority of gamers don't really care. They just don't have enough on their system for me to shell another 400€ just to be able to play a couple of games, that's almost ten new triple-A titles on PC. It would be great if the managed to release something appealing for once, VR might be just that.

Going by current games on pc, a single first party game from Nintendo is worth more than ten run of the mill triple A games.

Screw Virtual Reality. Get the console out already.
It wont replace real gaming until many factors are in place which wont happen in many years. Unless it dies like the 3D fad for TVs did.

If headsets are light enough and people can watch what you do on another screen it's plausible the device will be successful across all generations.

Yes, but we are not there where the headsets are light.
I highly doubt people are willing to indulge in a VR world in many hours in a row. Just too tiredsome in the long run and isolating from everything around you.
I know I would hate getting sweaty in the googles and headphones, suddenly thinking about stuff around me and having to remove everything just to find out. Or when I have to pee or get a drink etc

Just too much stuff that I would hate which makes VR a fad for me.
Only usefulness I know of is porn. VR Porn.

This is all rumor at the moment, I don't think they will do VR. Now if they make a hybrid and i can take it anywhere, and play my games on the go and on the system with the same cartridge. That would be great and maybe i can play Pokemon on the big screen.
