A 6850K from our 4.5GHz bin would definitely run 4.4GHz under 1.35V.

Also for those waiting, we will have some 4.5GHz 6800Ks up tonight.

Thanks, I might just do that since her rig does not have the best cooling setup at the moment and maybe run it at 4.5 later when her rig improves.

I only run my 6950X at 4.0Ghz with DDR4 3000 myself, because of the low reported ceiling of 4.4Ghz I didn't think it was worth pushing it any further. Although I did see a screeny somewhere on this forum of a 6950X @ 4.55Ghz with DDR 3400, maybe I should do it just for benchies.

Hi. Little OT...
What Asus RB Versions do u use ? They updated RB a few times, and now H264 takes a lot less time to finish so ....wonderring what you use.
Thanks

We don't touch the benchmarking section of realbench, only the stress test. I haven't noticed any differences in recent versions, but you can always assume we're testing with the latest.

The one I got from you stabilized 4.4GHz @ 1.28v passed XTU for 30 min cpu/mem tests with AVX. Definitely worth it, probably would have spent more cash and tons of time binning it myself.

I'll add my voice to this one as another satisfied customer. While I haven't been able to OC my 6850k yet (waiting for EK RVE10 monoblock) the 4.8 GHz 6600k is solid as advertised.

I can't recommend this service highly enough!

I have a question about the VID and I'm hoping somebody here can help me. I am able to overclock my 6850K to 4.2 GHz with a voltage of 1.260v. As soon as I switch from manual to adaptive, the voltage under load jumps to 1.298v. Is this because of VID? My 6850k does not like 4.5ghz at any voltage...far from stable at 1.500v but it is bootable into Windows. At 4.4ghz, I am fairly stable but still a high voltage and anything in the 4.0-4.3ghz range, I am very stable but the adaptive voltage setting forces the voltage to 1.298v....no OC voltage offset value can stop that from happening. 1.200-1.298v as an OC Voltage results in an actual voltage of 1.298v. ... Just seems weird

I haven't played with adaptive much with Broadwell-E, but adaptive does use the VID voltage table within the CPU, when at stock frequencies. If your stock voltage is 1.298V for your highest turbo clock, then you may not be able to set a voltage lower than that with adaptive.
