Well if the Ventus R got a fix, maybe there's hope for the X still wink.gif

Well in Ventus R's case, it was only one of the crippling bugs.

It's possible the normies might not detect the R's sensor issue though. It might depend on whether or not they consider it normal that the cursor lags like crazy if the mouse is ever so much as lifted.

but yeah, if it's fixable by firmware or so, then why not. tongue.gif
Same. :^)

Got random spinouts with the mouse again(on two mice)
Can this be because of the hyperglides i have installed?
Tested it on Artisan Hien, Razer Goliathus Speed and a Corsair Pad
I got this in like 30h once but it's still annoying

What kind of hyperglides? I'm using mx-2 with lowest possible LOD settings with no problems yet.

Try these steps first:

1. Play around with LOD settings
2. Clean the sensor with a Q-tip to ensure there is no dust/dirt
3. Use a full black and clean mousepad (probably not an issue but just to be sure)
4. Maybe remove the sticker around the sensor, it's misaligned in some models (mine included but dunno if it causes any problems though)

If it still happens maybe it's a software issue, what fw are you using? I'm still using the one ncck posted with the fixed profile switch bug.

Hmm not a given it will be fixed then, since this is the only issue (known to us at least) with the X so far, TT may not even know about it or may decide it's not worth fixing. I'll try to make a post on their forums if I have some time tonight.

I've had this happen ONCE after I got the mouse on a Goliathus Speed, before updating to the software above poster is referring to. Since then I've had 0 spinouts in, no clue, but at least 100++ hours of gaming, so upgrading software/firmware is definitely worth doing first.

At the time I got my mouse, the official version from the website had issues and was lower than a version sent to Ncck, credits to him for posting it here after getting a reply on the TT forums. See this post: http://www.overclock.net/t/1601975/tt-esports-ventus-x-optical-3360-announced/270
Direct link to software: https://www.dropbox.com/s/es7ww639uzcowcy/Tt%20eSPORTS%20Command%20Center%20V1.0254.exe?dl=0
It would be wise however to check if the TT site offers a newer version by now, however!

@Kenji could you maybe add that link to the OP for new users? Not sure if the site was updated by now, but this link contains the version 1.0.2.54 of the software, which was newer than was on the site when I got my mouse and contained a couple of important fixes.

speaking of software, anyone figured out how to update firmware, if there is a version 1.07 out? tongue.gif
mine's still on 1.06 and I really can't find anything in the software or on their website, or through google...
