Is the XB271HK good?

Looking to upgrade my gpu so was thinking I could trade my 1440p 32" Benq for a nice 4K monitor

Anybody own one of these Acers? What do you think or is there a better 4K monitor out there

Also to curious to know this, I may be ordering one next week. Can any owners of this particular model share their thoughts on it? Whats the quality control like? Any dead pixels, etc?

*UPDATE AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS REVIEW

The Xb271hk landed today, got it hooked and booked int t about five minutes...

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: This PREDATOR looks much nicer outside than my xb271hu but I could care less about that. Windows auto-detected it and I think scaling is at 150%. Desktop can now be read without glasses (looks same with glasses/without.. I aym nearsighted and astigmatized.) but both screens are very similar. I loaded up a 4k wallpaper. I like it.

INITIAL REVIEW: I loaded up BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE... set everything to 4k and at first I said "Wow, t it looks great but I can tell the 144hz was quicker." Then I set "GAME MODE" on the monitor and wow it looks the same (tad tad slower) as the xb271hu.

STONES THOUGHTS: I am going to give this another day but it's a keeper for me. 60fps was locked with gsync without a hitch and the difference so far between 144hz and 60hz is big but when you throw gsync and IPS it's amazing. I am going to update my review tomorrow.

thats my review im done.

I also want to give a shout out to acer...

This was purchased as a scratch and ding... $596.00

It's flawless... no BLB or any issues when faced forward... it's perfect and I Can't find a scratch on it.

Sounds like a good monitor, and good catch. Didn't see any used ones on Acers site when I checked

Got mine new for ~$750ish, I think. It's hurting my eyes at the moment, but there's no PWM... and I have the color temp set pretty low, too. I'm not sure whats going on. Probably need to make an eye doctor appointment, but the strange thing is that the 32 inch 4k monitor didn't hurt my eyes. This one is set to 200% scaling in Windows.

Colors are good, no dead pixels (or rather, I haven't found any yet). Uniformity is okay-ish, haven't looked for BLB but I don't think theres any. Picture is very sharp as expected, input lag is pretty good.

It's a pretty good unit. I'd rather this over the 144hz model if I can get the whole eye pain/stress thing under control. This purchase is meant to replace the larger 4k panel I had due to the latter's immense size; I tried bringing the BL3201PH/PT with me to university, and while it did fit it was very close, and bringing it home or to events was a massive pain.

4/5 so far

It's pretty good, especially considering your upgrade will swap a panel of the same size, but for a higher resolution and not much else. Colors are good, uniformity is... not so great, input lag is between 3-7ms. I can't take mine with me, because a 32" isn't going to fit on a tiny dorm desk (I tried). Also, no Gsync, which I need.

EDIT: light blue stuck pixel located.
