I've played World of Warcraft, sometimes for even 10 hours on Weekends and I've never got burned out because the game had lots of things that worked like an anchor.

At some point I hope Blizzard make its gameplay more In-Depth, like for example: Using Tracer with Soldier 76 weapon, rocket launcher and all would be extremely fun, and balanced if you make other characters capable of mixing their stats and characteristics.

I don't know, I'm sure Blizzard will keep me interested with this game but not like World of Warcraft, Smite or Black Desert, I think Overwatch will be one cyclical game where I get back after each update, DLC and expansion to check it out.

The game needs a Talent System IMO, something not as complex as old WoW but more like current WoW in WoD, or even HOTs if even that's too In-Depth, all while having standard specs like the ones we have now.

Items could greatly benefit the game as well.

Also one gripe I have about the game are the skins, all of the skins are... Re colors? Literally, check Smite for example, the most radical skin in Overwatch would be something like a Re-Color in smite that is given up for free.

Smite did skins right, like Angel Thanatos or Thor Ragnarok, they are so radically different, the Voice Actors are different, the spells/skills are RADICALLY different, (On the looks obviously, as they always do the same thing no matter the skin) the animation is different, the way the walk, talk, move, shoot and attack/receive damage is different, all the while retaining the original flavor of the character.

Overwatch is nice, but it could be 10 times better, I don't think it'll be a flop because Blizzard could make this game last long with the right changes, but AS IS this game is doomed to be a flop in 4-6 months time.

But skins are pointless in Overwatch lol. Its first person. That they could so Is create more game modes, add more maps, add more heros, have custom games. I think Overwatch has just started. They will slowly toll out content for it.

That's one more thing Overwatch needs, a Third Person Camera.

Go and spectate a friend playing, notice how the camera is set on 3rd Person, try to set the FOV to 100 instead of the max and you'll realize how much better the game can play in a 3rd person perspective, then skins aren't as pointless al the while gameplay is greatly improved by just offering this alternative camera.

3rd person some heros would be too overpowered.

It's a camera angle, not a damage boost, you could toggle between them, using your logic then Hanzo/Widowmaker is one way to argue that a 1st person camera is Overpowered.

The thing is, with 3rd person mode you can look around corners without exposing yourself. You have a bigger FoV which is a advantage.
Look at Battlefront for the perfect example.

I can assure you that a high levels people master such map awareness that the bigger FoV becomes meaningless.

Also we have Hanzo 24/7 exposing enemies behind walls and Widowmakers that keep their ult with a 100% Uptime, Literally.

You could argue that at low levels (1-15) it could seem like an advantage, but even then people are surely not good enough to even take advantage of it.

I don't know, I'd have to check, but that's nothing compared to a friend who's already level 110.

And by the way, you get more EXP points by playing good and winning, more kills, damage and stats = More EXP, my average Kill Score is sitting at 28 currently, damage is sitting at 8K average and Weapon Accuracy at 38%, all of this with Tracer.

Overwatch had far more preorders, had one of the largest advertising campaigns since GTA V if not the largest, and is a Blizzard game which means it will basically sell itself. Battleborn is a $60 game with a $20 season pass on all platforms whereas Overwatch is a $40 game on PC and a flat $60 for current and future content on consoles.

I'm still not sold on Overwatch sticking around all that long, but really, Battleborn was what you came up with?

Last I checked, Overwatch is $60. How do you get the $40 price tag? I would buy it for 40, but 60 just feels a bit steep.
