Well, 16GB HBM2 won't be cheap. I would wager with those specs that it will be closer to $600 than $400.

This is no longer gddr5 you're used to. HBM2's clock is calculated differently.
You don't say... this is ddr, not qdr. It should be 700(1400)MHz.

HBM clocks are the same as DDR.the clocks for HBM 2 is 2GHz not 1.25GHz

I figured mtcn77 did expect to see "10000MHz (effective)" like most people are used from gddr5(x) by now.

HBM2 is twin bank, son. 350(1400) sounds just right... except we know it's ___ and the ____ isn't a Vega card. This "data" is idiocy vomitously spewed by a website that banned me for saying "Videocardz wouldn't know what Journalism was if it was the only question on an open book essay test."

The chart is speculation lies.

490X is most assuredly not gonna be HBM2. With memory compression being used now there's no need for it. They could put in 8gb GDDR5x (GQDR5) on a 512bit bus with 3456~ shaders and produce a nice solid $400 card.

What you'll see from AMD that uses HBM2 will be a monster 6000+ shader chip.

mtcn77 expect to see 700MHz with 1400MHz effective frequency not 350(QDR) effective 1400MHz this isnt using any Quad Data Rate memory and If at least who wrote the table would have researched that each stack on HBM2 will have 1GHz, 1.6GHz and 2GHz frequency

4096 at 1200mhz, but they didn't improve the IPC. Clocks only went up 20% from 1000. This will only compete with the 1080?

This is just fury x structure with estimations based on 14nm. It is obviously fake. We don't even know the ROPs of polaris 10
