My Corsair H60 comes with a big thick thermal pad and I'm wondering if I should wipe it off and use my IC Diamond paste

I would say yes, anything is better then factory slab. The only good company that gives amazing TIM with SOME of there products is EKWB. I had enough Gelid extreme to do my cpu a few times and my gpu.

Wipe it off its not gonna hurt.

I did not know corsair sent pads for CPU thermal contact. My H50 had paste. How do you wipe off a pad, don't you just peal it off?

I think he means the actual thermal paste that looks like a pad haha. CLCs as far as i know have absolutely no thermal pads.

Sorry I meant paste, but it's put on there like a pad with the whole thing covered, like a machine put it on. I just called it a pad. My mistake.
