Hey all,

After much research I bought this board after figuring it it was the exact same hardware as the Strix X99A RBG minus the RBG. Has the same motherboard layout, OC socket, exact same specs and if you compare the manuals is quite evident they are the same board without the Strix RGB.

Here is my OC results using a 'J' batch 5930k and 128GB of Corsair LPX 3000 memory all RealBench, AIDA Extreme and HCI MemTest stable. biggrin.gif

4.625GHZ CPU, 4.375GHZ cache, memory at 3000 MHZ at a respectable 15-16-16-35 1T. thumb.gif

I might try lowering the timings with a bit more voltage to the memory to 14-15-15-34 1T.

I found I do about 1k better in AIDA Extreme memory and cache benchmark at 2666MHZ with 12-13-13-32 timings.

I changed a few things, screenshots below.

The reason I have one channel of RAM with the voltage higher is I get some vdroop on the channels. Both channels with those settings run at 1.4v with the vdroop. rolleyes.gif

The cache runs at 1.35v. Bit high I know but this CPU is a temp until I RMA my 5960x. redface.gif

With water cooling with a Predator 360 and one Titan X in the loop while running RealBench I get under 77C max on the cores and hover just under 70C. biggrin.gif
