I think a new mobo,graphics card and monitor would solve all your problems.Maybe not even a new board,and you would save a bucket load of money.

Is your i5 2500k overclocked? Overclock it, get some faster ram and upgrade your gpu and your stuttering should disappear, i5 2500k is still a very Stout cpu, especially when overcloked.
