I have samsung 950 pro which is an m.2 ssd and its working very well actually. People who said that have no idea how to set it up and blame the product for it. I would go with the Asus aura or the gigabyte gaming g1 because they are newer boards and offer more for your money.

I am very happy with my sons setup. It will do up to 4.6 GHz on a hyper 212+ but there are things you should know.

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/s6pnXL
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/s6pnXL/by_merchant/

CPU: AMD FX-8320E 3.2GHz 8-Core Processor ($118.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($76.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $195.98

I always buy cheapest fx8 I can and all do 4.5 to 4.6 on a hyper 212+. I've had 8350, 8320, 8320e, 8310 with no problems.

The motherboard is fine 24/7 at 4.4 GHz and is 8+2 vrm. It does fine at 4.5-4.6 GHz buy if you boot from shutdown it says over clock fails and enter BIOS change nothing and save then will boot fine and pass stability tests.

8350 and 8310 at same speeds perform same in cinebench and games (I think the low firestrike GPU score below is due to 8350 having hive 750 PSU and 8310 having cx430 to power of 280x). Ive done tests with the FX 8350 and 8310 and i5 4670k at 4 GHz and all had similar scores.

Ahh okay, sounds good to me then. I'll go ahead and throw and SSD on my list as well. I've been wondering if I should grab one when I upgrade and trusted friends have said that it's worth it for one.

I hate using a PC without a ssd. Well worth the investment

first i've heard of this wanna link those reviews?

After looking quickly, that's the only one I found. Didnt mean to make it sound bad or like all of them are faulty.

I have it installed on my Gigabyte Gaming G1 motherboard and i have no issues with installing or recognizing. Installing was very simple and i could clone my OS in it without any problem. Some Intel motherboard had trouble recognizing the M.2 drive on z170 chipsets but that is mostly the boards fault or user error because in most scenario's it works just fine.

I just inserted my SSD in the M.2 slot and copied my cloned windows 10 OS on it and it works like a charm.

I do want to point out that it can be a hassle when you installing Windows 7 on it because it doesn't install the Microsoft Nvme drivers so the best thing is to install Windows 10 on it which has the Nvme drivers in order to make it work. Later you can install the Samsung or other drivers that are required for the SSD to work properly.

What SSD are you planning to buy? Nvme or SATA SSD?

that review doesn't sit right, I've never seen a modern board where those options didn't exist.

I'm running a Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 on a ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z with a Addonics Technology PCIe3.04-lane adapter along with a Samsung 850 Evo SSD 1TB. I have no issue. I went straight to Window 10 from a fresh brand new custom built PC that I put together.

Alright, if current owners aren't having problems, I'm no longer as worried.
I'm a very impatient person when it comes to new products, so waiting for RMA, arrrrgh!
I'll go ahead with the build as is, but after emailing Anidees, I'll be waiting for the windowed version of the case to hit "shelves" in a week or so.

If anyone else would like to suggest anything I could add for quieter fans, I would appreciate it, as I've read that most stock fans will be rather loud and have nearly no 'de-vibration' accessories.
I've been trying to find the foam fan/radiator protectors but I have no idea what they are called, so my searches are yielding very poor results.
