Where can I get the rings if I don't have a 3D printer?

Edit: I found the guys ebay store and found the rings for $10 + free shipping.

I got these headphones 2 weeks ago and they are great. I took it a step further and did the ear pad modification.

The original ear pads were pretty easy to unclip and remove. I placed an order for the 3D printed rings from the guys eBay store for $10. I also bought the Lamb leather ear pads and installed them.

I have never had a more comfortable pair of headphones in my life. The original headphones don't clamp to your head very much, but adding the new ear pads has solved that issue.

How do they sound with the new pads, more bass?

I love the headphones stock, but these pads add the perfect level of bass imo. They are also much thicker which improves the grip stretching out the headphones so they stay in place.

I have to say it was worth the investment. I spent all day at work wearing them today ha.

I wish you would make a video showing how to install those pads, I watched a couple on youtube already, and they just rip and ruin the cans when I tried it, I had to send in for a replacement can. heh would love to put on Shure Alcantara pads.

Wish granted! I shot a quick video at work for you.

Yeah, I didn't wanna do the replacement at first because I saw the same videos. But thanks to Z review's video, I just put more pressure on where the clips were and they popped right off!

no video is needed, the pads pop right off, just pick a corner and pull hard, it wont break, i have done it many times now. the HM5 velour pads fit right over it, and your ears are closer to the speaker, increasing bass and soundstage. these cans are heaven now biggrin.gif
